Web Interface
Void Video includes a browser interface for status, configuration, diagnostics, and support tools.
Connect
- Open Main Menu → System Information.
- Highlight Web Server and scan the displayed QR code, or note the device IP address under Network.
- From a device on the same network, open
http://DEVICE-IP:9100/.
The connection indicator in the web interface shows whether live updates are arriving from the processor.
What is available
- Dashboard and live processor status
- Video, display, SDR, HDR, warping, and zoom configuration
- Performance and shader-pass diagnostics
- Capture EDID inspection, editing, and
.binupload/download - Captures from supported processing stages
- System hardware information
- Problem reporting
The configuration controls in the web interface and on-screen menu write to the same retained configuration. A change made in either interface affects the running processor.
Edit the capture EDID
Open Video → EDID to read the active capture input's EDID: the capabilities it advertises to the HDMI source. Select the input in Void Video's Capture → Input menu first. Hardware reads and writes require an input that exposes an EDID controller; file editing and download also work without a connected card.
- The page automatically reads the active card. Select Download before editing if you want to keep the original
.binfile. - Change the feature checkboxes, or select Upload to load a binary EDID file as your draft. The controls cover color formats, deep color, HDR transfer functions, colorimetry, basic audio and HDMI link flags. Timings and other fields not exposed here can be edited in an external EDID editor and uploaded.
- Select Download to save the EDID currently shown, including your edits, or Discard edits to return to the last card readback.
- Select Apply to card when ready to write. Capture briefly stops and the HDMI source may renegotiate. Check for Applied. Card readback matches the draft exactly. to confirm the result.
Uploading and editing do not write to the card. Void Video does not automatically build or repair the EDID. Invalid files show an error and cannot be applied; explicit feature edits update the affected checksums. Advertised features are EDID declarations, not proof of the card's hardware capabilities.
API access
The same server exposes its current contracts at:
/openapi.jsonfor HTTP endpoints/asyncapi.jsonfor live WebSocket topics/configfor the current configuration snapshot
Use these generated contracts instead of relying on a copied endpoint list, since available configuration topics can change with installed plugins.
