Zoom Controls
Choose Fill/Crop in Content Presentation to open Zoom Controls. Uniform zoom preserves picture geometry while enlarging the image. When the image reaches both screen edges, anything beyond the other two edges is cropped.
The preview always uses the saved physical-screen ratio and the detected or selected content ratio. It shows bars before zoom and shades the picture area that zoom removes.
Choose the zoom behavior
- Small Bars removes bars only when the required crop stays within Max Crop / Edge.
- Fill Screen calculates the uniform zoom needed to cover the complete physical screen.
- Custom lets you stop between Fit and Fill or zoom farther when intentional overscan is required.
Remove small bars automatically
Small Bar Reduction checks both axes. Narrower content creates side bars, so removing them crops the top and bottom. Wider content creates top and bottom bars, so removing them crops the left and right.
The matrix shows which screen-and-content combinations qualify at the selected limit. Screen ratios run down the left; detected content ratios run across the top.

At the illustrated 2.0% limit, 1.85 content on a 16:9 screen is marked Z. Removing its small top and bottom bars crops approximately 1.95% from each side.
Control Fill and Custom zoom
The controls follow the direction of the screen-and-content mismatch:
- Narrower content exposes Top Crop, Bottom Crop, and vertical alignment.
- Wider content exposes Left Crop, Right Crop, and horizontal alignment.
The example retains the earlier 2.40 screen selection and shows 16:9 content. Zoom expands the 16:9 image until its sides fill the 2.40 screen. The preview shades the resulting top and bottom crop before you save.

Use Compare to switch between the adjusted result and Fit. When the crop is acceptable, continue to Automatic Behavior.
Choose NLS Controls instead when you want to reduce uniform crop by accepting controlled horizontal edge stretch.
